I logged onto the blog yesterday, it was purple.
I logged onto the blog TODAY, it was pink.
Kill me now, for I am blogging in a pink blog.
Hallelujah.

Anyways, about human communication, as this is supposed to be a blog on human communication which will be accessed and evaluated every week, what I think about human communication, more specifically, Introduction to Human Communication.
During the first lecture of Human Communication, all of us in the class introduced others, rather than introducing themselves, which was a change from the usual ice-breaking as we had to interview others to find out about them so we could introduce them to the whole class. My subject was Rui Qi, who was in her fourth semester, and the reason why she was taking human communication was to gain confidence and learn how to communicate more professionally as she was generally a pretty shy girl.
To gain confidence and to learn how to speak more professionally, was the main reason why most of the students in our class chose human communication. Though some took up this subject just for fun, right Magdeline? *smile!* Little did I know that this course I was taking was actually related to Psychology. All along, I thought that Intoduction to Human Communication was related to well, talking? Related to Mass Communication even. It is related to Mass communication, kind of, in my opinion, because it teaches us how to talk and understand the need for human communication, which would be useful when dabbling in Mass Communication, which is what i had planned to do. So, either way, i thought that taking up Human Communication was a good choice, as I can see that talking will be what we'll do in the whole 13 till 14 weeks of Human Communication. Brilliant, plenty of times to train my public speaking skills...... and hopefully I don't completely make a fool of myself. I hate public speaking!!!
Human Communication lectures have so far been pretty fun, though i guess we haven't reached that dreaded week of assignments and public speaking which i really really dread, considering I tumble and fumble with my own words. Even though I have the whole script memorized and practised, I always somehow end up fumbling through the whole presentation. I had mental preperation, but the real thing was somehow always different from the real audience. So, SO FAR, it HAS been good, with us watching this movie called Hoodwinked to complete an exercise given as homework.

Thought of Human Communication so far : Yay, Human Comm is fun!

This is Jenn (Diong Jenn Huen) and this is my first blog post on Human Communication.
